Una nuova serie di performance settimanali su PBS, ospitata dal grande jazz Ramsey Lewis, ogni spettacolo avrebbe un tema ("The American Songbook", "The Piano Masters", "Latin Jazz", ecc.) E presenta performance musicali dal vivo con pochi brevi episodi, "Legends of Jazz" ha sicuramente fatto onore al suo nome.
